Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Tokyo Confidential is a venue guide, not a data company. We collect only what we need to run the service and nothing more.

What we collect

What we do not collect

Authentication

We use Clerk for authentication. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only your email and name. We never see your password.

Third parties

We share booking details (name, party size, date) with partner restaurants to confirm your reservation. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data storage

Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS in ap-northeast-1, Tokyo). Offline venue data is stored locally on your device.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from the app (Profile > Delete account). This permanently removes all your data from our servers. Active subscriptions should be cancelled separately through your platform's subscription settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will not materially reduce your privacy protections without notice.
